Friday's Christmas Day slate featured more than a few intriguing storylines. However, one that stood out was Los Angeles Lakers big man Montrezl Harrell and his choice of footwear. Anthony Davis was mic'd up during LA's matchup against the Dallas Mavericks, and he made sure to call out Harrell's rather unconventional kicks.

First, a look at Harrell's Yeti-inspired Reeboks:

That's honestly unlike any other pair NBA fans have seen in the past, and Harrell certainly deserves a nod for his uniqueness and creativity. However, it's hard to say that it is a nice-looking pair of sneakers.

Montrezl Harrell's kicks certainly left an impression on Anthony Davis, who literally demanded that the broadcast crew get a close up on his Lakers teammate's shoes.

The Lakers were clearly in a jovial mood entering the contest against the Mavs, and their team chemistry was on full display. The defending champs dominated Dallas all night long en route to a 138-115 blowout win against Luka Doncic and Co.

Both Davis (28 points on 10-of-16 shooting, three triples, eight rebounds, five assists, two steals in 30 minutes) and Harrell (22 points on 10-of-13 shooting, seven boards, two assists, and a steal in 29 minutes off the bench) were both outstanding for the Lakers, as they logged their first win of the season.

This was Harrell's best game for his new team thus far (he has only played in two regular season contests, though), and his Abominable Snowman-inspired kicks probably deserves some credit for the same.
