It's no secret that Carmelo Anthony is now in the twilight of his career. The Los Angeles Lakers veteran just turned 38, and he will be entering his 19th season in the league in 2022-23.

At this point, the Lakers forward is already thinking of what's ahead. One major part of his future is the development of his son, Kiyan, into a potential basketball star. Melo has been working hard to try and pass on the basketball gene to Kiyan, who is now 15. A recent video clip of the father-and-son duo working out is currently making its rounds on social media and it truly is heartwarming:

Melo is obviously trying to teach his son his best moves, and it seems to be rubbing off on the teenager. It goes without saying that Kiyan is still quite a ways away from becoming a pro, but with a future Hall of Fame dad behind him, anything's possible for this kid.

As for his father, Carmelo Anthony is currently on an expiring deal with the Lakers. The 10-time All-Star is expected to hit free agency this summer, and right now, it remains to be seen if LA is going to be offering him a contract extension for next season.
