Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has been a busy man this summer. One of the things that has him preoccupied is the filming of the highly anticipated “Space Jam 2” film.

Recently, James shared a photo via his Instagram of himself and former teammate Chris Bosh, who visited him on the set of his upcoming movie:

Chris Bosh, LeBron James

To be clear, Bosh is not part of the film's cast, at least he's not known to be. Earlier, it was confirmed that NBA stars such as Golden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson, Portland Trail Blazers talisman Damian Lillard, and LeBron's new Lakers teammate Anthony Davis have all been tapped to star alongside LeBron in the sequel to the '90s smash hit, which featured no less than the great Michael Jordan. Then again, it would not be surprising if Bosh makes a brief cameo in the movie.

James and Bosh were teammates for four seasons with the Miami Heat, as they, along with Dwyane Wade, formed one of the most potent Big 3s the league has ever seen. They would go on to dominate the league during this span, winning back-to-back NBA titles in 2012 and 2013.

We last saw Bosh take the court in the 2015-16 season with the Heat. However, a serious blood clot condition forced the 11-time All-Star to retire from the sport, and he has since been making TV appearances as a basketball analyst. Obviously, he formed a precious bond with LeBron during their time together, as they ended up developing a very close friendship that has withstood the test of time.
