The Los Angeles Lakers have had a busy NBA free agency period and have added a lot of new players. They have also brought on board a ton of former Lakers, including Dwight Howard, who spent a year with the Philadelphia 76ers after winning the title in the Orlando Bubble with LeBron James and the Lakers.
Howard went on IG Live prior to the introductory press conferences on Friday and gave a perfect response to his return to Staples Center.
Dwight Howard on coming back to the Lakers via his Instagram Live:
“This is my home, I just went on vacation.”

Howard was a dynamic presence for the Lakers during their title run and was severely missed during the season and in their playoff run, which ended in a first-round loss against the Phoenix Suns.

The Lakers brought back a bunch of veterans, including Kent Bazemore, Trevor Ariza, Wayne Ellington, and Carmelo Anthony, who finally gets to play next to LeBron James after years and years of trying to team up.
Howard seems thrilled to be back in the purple and gold, and the Lakers are thrilled to have him return as well as they try and make another run at an NBA title.
With a lot of new faces, including Russell Westbrook via a draft night blockbuster, the Lakers have a lot of people buzzing with their talented roster once again.
