Shaquille O'Neal is one of the greatest bigs to ever play the game and during his time with the Los Angeles Lakers, he won three titles alongside Kobe Bryant. While in LA and in South Beach with the Miami Heat, Shaq played with Gary Payton, who recently revealed just how much of a jokester O'Neal really was.
Speaking to VladTV, The Glove said that Shaq used to haze rookies by pouring his own poop on them in the bathroom. Yes, you heard that right.
“Shaq is a jokester, so if one of the rookies would be in the stall, he would take a bucket, and use the bathroom in it for about a week then all of the sudden he'd pour it on them.”
Absolutely savage from Shaq. Imagine being one of those rookies and getting severely traumatized like this. Must've been awful. That's just an example of how much O'Neal enjoyed messing around during his time in the NBA. But when it was time to step on the floor, it was all business.
Payton also tried to get Shaq back for the hazing by stealing his boxers, which would force the big man to walk around “free-ballin.” Priceless stuff. I just wonder which rookies were the victims.
