Former NBA veteran turned basketball analyst Kendrick Perkins pulled out a crystal ball and predicted the Los Angeles Lakers' future as he recently spoke on the “Keyshawn, JWill & Zubin” podcast. As good as they are right now, Perkins claimed that the Purple and Gold can get even better next season and Lebron James will add more rings to his collection.

“Realistically, how many more Championships can the Lakers win with LeBron James?”

He replied:

“Two, at least. We heard LeBron James last night say he had at least 4 or 5 good years left in him, and I believe him… and I wouldn’t be surprised if the Lakers land another star this offseason. Don’t be surprised if they pull off something and they have another young star come move into LA, playing for the Lakers.”

The main priority for the team is to make sure to bring back everyone, especially key players including star forward Anthony Davis. Nonetheless, the Lakers will also have a plethora of choices available as players like Brandon Ingram, DeMar DeRozan, Gordon Hayward, Andre Drummond, Mike Conley, Danilo Gallinari, and Montrezl Harrell are expected to hit free agency in the offseason.

The front office can also be active on the trade market with hopes of improving their already dominant roster. With multiple contracts set to expire, the Lakers will still have some financial flexibility to work with.

Regardless of the looming roster movements, the Lakers will remain in contention of the title as long as Lebron James is at the helm.
