There’s nothing like a great Kobe Bryant story like this, more so now than ever since the Lakers legend is no longer with us and sports are on a hiatus due to COVID-19.
As we all know, Bryant got his revenge on Paul Pierce and the Celtics. First, Kobe and the Lakers defeated Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic in the 2009 Finals. The Black Mamba then led the Purple and Gold to their second title in a row by defeating the Beantown team in the 2010 Finals.
Bryant won back-to-back Finals MVPs and cemented himself as arguably the greatest Lakers player of all-time. Kobe finished his LA career with averages of 25.0 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.7 assists.
