In what is the first post submitted since his tragic death earlier this year, the Instagram page of Lakers legend Kobe Bryant noted the release of The Wizenard Series: Season One on Tuesday.

“Welcome back to Dren!,” the post reads. “We hope you are all ready to catch up with the West Bottom Badgers for another magical basketball season. The #Wizenard Series: Season One is OUT NOW.”

According to FOX 35 in Orlando, it was Kobe's wife, Vanessa, who sent out this post.

The Wizenard Series is a unique mix of basketball and “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter,” aimed at giving kids a fun perspective on life lessons through sports. The books are written by bestselling author Wesley King. “Training Camp,” the first installment of the series, was released in 2019 and became a New York Times Best Seller. Granity Studios serves as publishers for the series, which is the same multimedia company behind Bryant's Academy Award-winning short film “Dear Basketball.”

Bryant was killed in a helicopter crash just outside Los Angles on January 26. Sadly, all nine passengers on the flight, including his 13-year-old daughter Gianna, were killed. According to several reports that have since been confirmed, the group was on its was to The Mamba Sports Academy, where the Lakers star was to serve as a coach for his daughter's basketball team.

This series was one of many projects that Bryant was working on before his tragic passing.
