The Los Angeles Lakers had a plan and place and they executed it without wasting any time. LA's latest free agency signing comes in the form of 22-year-old wing Troy Brown Jr.

This report comes via Shams Charania of The Athletic:

Free agent Troy Brown Jr. has agreed to a minimum deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.

Brown suited up for the Chicago Bulls last season, where he averaged 4.3 points and 3.1 rebounds per game. These are by no means eye-popping numbers, but what cannot be denied is that the 22-year-old has a ton of upside.

Apart from Brown, the Lakers also snagged Lonnie Walker IV from the San Antonio Spurs on a one-year deal worth $6.5 million. LA has now added two new young wings to their roster around LeBron James.

It is worth noting, however, that the Lakers also lost Malik Monk to free agency after the 6-foot-3 shooting guard agreed to a two-year deal with the Sacramento Kings worth $19 million. This is a tough pill to swallow for LA, but the arrival of Brown and Walker somewhat soften the blow.

The Lakers also added some frontcourt depth via free agency by signing 6-foot-11 center Damian Jones.
