After sitting out the Los Angeles Lakers' 113-97 defeat against the Houston Rockets on Thursday, LeBron James will be back in action for LA on Saturday when they take on the Indiana Pacers. Superstar big man Anthony Davis is likewise expected to suit up for the Lakers, as he awaits his next night off.

This report comes via NBA insider Chris Haynes:

With the Lakers already clinching the first overall seed in the West, they technically have nothing more to play for in their three remaining seeding games. This is why it comes as a bit of a surprise that Davis will still be available for LA on Saturday against the Pacers. The 27-year-old has played in all five of the Lakers' games inside the bubble thus far, so we should expect a load management evening for him in the near future.

Then again, the fact that the Lakers have lost two straight (and three out of their five games so far) might be one of the motivations of Lakers head coach Frank Vogel to play his star players on Saturday. This team will need to build some form of momentum entering the playoffs, and going into the postseason with a losing record in the bubble is not exactly an ideal situation for them.

After Saturday's matchup against Indiana, LA's next game will be on Monday against the Denver Nuggets. They close their regular season with a matchup against the Sacramento Kings on Thursday.
