The Los Angeles Lakers look to advance in the NBA In-Season Tournament in the next matchup against the Phoenix Suns. Unsurprisingly, LeBron James leads the Lakers on the offensive front. However, the NBA superstar is dealing with a calf injury that could hold him out of Tuesday night's game.

Lakers battle injury woes for NBA In-Season Tournament quarterfinals

James is listed as questionable for Los Angeles' quarterfinal matchup against Phoenix, per Kellan Olson. In addition, Anthony Davis, Rui Hachimura, and Jarred Vanderbilt are probable for the game.

The Lakers have the best record in the West Group A bracket in the In-Season Tournament. So far, LA is undefeated. If the team's key players are out though, the Suns have a chance to steal the win and advance.

Phoenix boasts a better regular season record of 12-8, one game ahead of LA. The Suns have injury woes of their own, as Bradley Beal has yet to stay on the court for the team. Nevertheless, Kevin Durant and Devin Booker are spearheading the Suns' attack.

The two Phoenix superstars are ranked in the top 15 in the league in scoring. If their defense can hold up, they will have a chance to win against the undermanned Lakers.

If LeBron James misses Tuesday night's game, Los Angeles has to find a way to make up for his offensive services. The 38-year-old averages 24.4 points per game (14th in the NBA). Hopefully, Anthony Davis and co. will be healthy and ready to step up if James' calf is not better.
