LeBron James came into Friday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves with a questionable tag. This was the same case for the Los Angeles Lakers' previous two games, but that did not stop him from suiting up and helping his team on the court. Unsurprisingly, James played through the injury again on Friday night, and it resulted in a huge win for the Lakers.

At this point, LeBron isn't at a hundred percent just yet. He's still rehabbing the foot injury that cost him nearly a full month on the sidelines. However, Lakers fans will be happy to know that the injury should not be an issue moving forward:

“Yeah, it's getting better,” LeBron said. “It's getting better. My rhythm is still not quite there yet as it was before the injury, but I was out for four weeks, I understand that. So each game, each minute, as my wind starts to get back too, I can play a little bit longer spurts.”

The Lakers have another game coming up on Sunday against the Houston Rockets, and LeBron is expected to be available for that one as well. Only a major injury will prevent the NBA's all-time leading scorer from taking the court as the Lakers continue to fight for a Play-In spot in the West.

It is worth noting, however, that LA has one final back-to-back set coming up in their remaining five games of the regular season. This comes in the form of matchups against the Utah Jazz and the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively. The Lakers are not guaranteed a spot in the playoffs just yet, and they still need to win their upcoming games, so it will be very interesting to see if LeBron James ends up playing in both of those contests.
