Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is a huge fan of what NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace is doing.

Wallace will run a special paint scheme to honor the Black Lives Matter movement on Wednesday.

Upon seeing the news, LeBron took to Twitter to salute Wallace:

This is a great gesture by Wallace. The NASCAR community is predominantly white, so it's good to see Wallace doing something that could attract more African American supporters.

While LeBron and the Lakers are no doubt thrilled the NBA is returning soon, The King will continue to speak out on racial injustices and police brutality. The tragic murder of George Floyd in Minnesota is still fresh on everyone's minds, particularly in the African American community.

LeBron's focus will return to basketball soon enough, though. Before the 2019-20 season was suspended in March, he was averaging 25.7 points, 7.9 rebounds and 10.6 assists for the Lakers. The four-time MVP and three-time champion was leading the NBA in assists per game for the first time in his career.

James' partner in crime, Anthony Davis, was putting up 26.7 points, 9.4 boards and 3.1 assists per game for the Lakers. Los Angeles will be one of the favorites to win the title in Orlando, Florida.

The Lakers haven't been to the playoffs since 2013. This season could be LeBron's best opportunity to win title No. 4.
