The LeBron James center experience is in full swing. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar hasn't just embraced the role — he has looked amazing in it.

LeBron did a little bit of everything against the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night. The Lakers star posted 32 points, eight rebounds, nine assists, four steals and three blocks.

While that just seems like your run-of-the-mill LeBron James stat line, it's actually much rarer than that. His box score contributions for the Lakers on the evening haven't been matched by anyone 35+ in nearly half a century:

LeBron James continues to shatter records for a player of his age. But to his credit, he hasn't just been impressive for an old guy. He has been amazing even compared to his younger peers around the league this season.

The Lakers, in turn, have been finding their groove as of late. They've won four games in a row, including five of their last six — all wins of which LeBron James started at center.

LeBron has been a man on a mission this season, posting his highest single season scoring average (28.7 ppg) since his first stint with the Cleveland Cavaliers way back in 2010. With LeBron James playing like this all season, the wins were bound to come eventually.
