The LeBron James slander has got to stop right now. On Monday, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar achieved yet another accolade that further established the fact that at this point in his career, The King is anything but done.
LeBron has just been named as the league's Western Conference Player of the Week following the four-time MVP's hot streak over the past few games. Incidentally, this is the first time a Lakers player has bagged this individual award since LA's championship campaign in 2019-20.

With LeBron back in the lineup, the Lakers won three out of their four games this past week, including a 117-102 victory over their bitter rival in the Boston Celtics. Over that span, James put up averages of 28.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 8.0 assists per game. So much for the Washed King narrative, right?
In case you were wondering, the last Lakers player to have won this award was none other than LeBron himself. James took Player of the Week honors back in March 2020. We all know how the Lakers made history that season by winning the NBA championship, so could this recent achievement by LeBron be a premonition of things to come for the Purple & Gold this year?
