LeBron James' return to Cleveland this time was a sweet one. The crowd cheered for him and gave him a warm welcome.

The 14-time All-Star and three-time NBA champion was grateful to the Cleveland crowd:

LeBron James returned to Quicken Loans Arena yet again with a different team after leaving in the summer. But the crowd was appreciative this time, unlike his return eight years ago while he played for Miami.

LeBron's comeback eight years ago was the complete opposite of this game. The enraged crowd booed him every time he touched the ball. The Cleveland fans then felt betrayed by his decision to leave for South Beach and considered him a villain until his return in 2014.

A tribute video was shown at the game's first timeout that thanked LeBron for the NBA Finals trophy he brought to the city of Cleveland in 2016. Also, his contributions for the community were shown.

The Lakers won by a score of 109-105, with LeBron James putting in his usual numbers. He finished with a double-double of 32 points, 14 rebounds, and seven assists.

Second-year man Lonzo Ball wowed everyone with 15 points, seven rebounds, and six assists. His plus-minus of plus-16 was a team high.
