Near the end of Game 3 of the 2020 Finals, Miami Heat small forward Jimmy Butler told Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James the Lakers were “in trouble” after the Heat won the contest to make the series 2-1.

After the game, Butler told the media that James yelled at him that Miami was in trouble when the two All-Stars had a back-and-forth at the conclusion of the first quarter.

However, during his media session on Monday, James told reporters he's not a trash talk initiator, via Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.

Heat fans aren't going to like this comment by LeBron James since there is video evidence showing the Lakers superstar was talking trash to Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro after the first quarter ended.

Whatever the case may be, James has to play much better in Game 4 if the Lakers want to win and take a commanding 3-1 series lead. The King had a rather subpar outing in Game 3, as James finished with 25 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists and eight turnovers while shooting 9-of-16 from the field, 1-of-5 from beyond the arc and 6-of-9 from the free-throw line.

Both James and Anthony Davis have to play like the superstars they are for the Lakers to win Game 4. Davis only took nine shots in Game 3 for 15 points. That certainly has to change in Game 4, otherwise the Heat could even up the series at 2-2 and doubt could start to creep into the Lakers' head.
