LeBron James had some timely Instagram praise for Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson after a rousing five-touchdown performance over the deplorable Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
The Los Angeles Lakers star gave his nod of approval to the converted running back, who slung a near-perfect night with very little resistance from the Fins.
Jackson, a Florida native, cooked Miami with a deliciously effective day at the office, completing 17 of his 20 pass attempts, racking up 324 passing yards and an 83-yard flick to Hollywood Brown for the score.
So pretty.

Jackson was doubted upon breaking into the NFL as a converted running back, with many questioning if he had what it takes to play the most important offensive position at the highest level.
The 6-foot-2, 212-pound Louisville product showed he has more than just arm talent, but plenty of mettle reading the defense, racking up a perfect quarterback rating for the game and helping the Ravens score the most points in a game in franchise history during a 59-10 destruction of the Dolphins.
Not bad for a running back. Not bad at all.

James and Jackson have supported each other through the past few years, so it comes to no surprise to see the former giving the young fella a shout out on Instagram.
LeBron has always been a keen football fan, never failing to appreciate greatness on the gridiron.
His hometown Cleveland Browns were however blown out in a season-opener against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, forcing him to seek some greatness to praise in other games.
