Tracy McGrady went viral on Tuesday after he boldly claimed that Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are more skilled than the duos of LeBron James-Dwyane Wade and Michael Jordan-Scottie Pippen. While many expect that LeBron wouldn't be happy to hear that, it's quite the opposite for the Los Angeles Lakers star.
On Twitter, both LeBron and Wade responded to the claim and were not offended at all. In fact, the two former teammates agreed to McGrady's take:
“And that is not a dig. Them two dudes are SKILLED af!” Wade wrote, to which the Lakers star responded by saying: “I see no lie told! They are 2 of the most skilled players of ALL-TIME.”
True enough, Tracy McGrady didn't say that the Kevin Durant-Kyrie Irving duo is better than the Michael Jordan-Scottie Pippen or the LeBron James-Dwyane Wade combos. He simply mentioned that they are more skilled, which is warranted given how capable both superstars are.
For one, Irving has arguably the best handles in the NBA, and his ability to attack and finish at the rim is among the best, if not the greatest in the NBA today. Meanwhile, Durant is a three-level scorer who has a variety of moves at his disposal. That is why he is considered one of the best scorers in the NBA:

The discussion on which is the better duo, however, is a different story. In order for Kyrie and KD to be in that conversation, they have to win a championship first. Everyone knows how dominant MJ and Pippen were when they were together, and the same goes for LeBron and Wade during their time in Miami before the now-Lakers star moved back to Cleveland.
