LeBron James has no love for the NCAA. Syracuse basketball coach Jim Boeheim is now taking pot shots at James after Darius Bazley spurned the Orange for greener pastures. The NBA prospect was expected to attend Syracuse to play for Boeheim, but he decided to forego college to play in the G League and prepare for the NBA draft.

Bazley has since decided to skip the G League and focus on the draft. He has also become a client of Klutch Sports, the same agency that reps LeBron James, and Bazley has secured a lucrative deal with New Balance. Boeheim reacted negatively to this news and now LeBron has a response:

Boeheim has always been a bit of a stick in the mud. He's notoriously grumpy and outspoken. It's no shock that he's taking thinly veiled shots at LeBron and Klutch Sports in the wake of losing Bazley.

But Boeheim and Syracuse have lost top-notch prospects in the past. They'll land on their feet as they always do because Boeheim, for all his gruffness, is one of the best coaches in the game. He's second on the all-time wins list for college coaches, only trailing his ACC nemesis, Mike Krzyzewski of Duke.

Boeheim's squad is ranked 16th in the AP preseason poll. These polls don't mean much in the grand scheme of things, but it does show that there is significant talent on the Syracuse roster. Whether or not they are successful this year is still up in the air.
