Los Angeles Lakers guard Lonzo Ball made a terrific save on a ball that was heading out of bounds before finding LeBron James for a 3-pointer in Friday night's game against the San Antonio Spurs.

With the team already racking up plenty of plays this season that even the Showtime Lakers of the 1980s would love, Lonzo Ball decided to add one more to the list with his great hustle in the second quarter.

It appeared that it was about to be San Antonio's ball after an errant pass, but the former UCLA star instead turned it into one of the best assists of the NBA season when LeBron James converted on the shot from beyond the arc.

It's pretty clear at this point that the Lakers are starting to build a ton of momentum after a tough start, and this awesome play is even more evidence of that.

The Spurs put a halt to Los Angeles' four-game winning streak but LeBron James and company are playing with way more chemistry now than when they were struggling to a 4-6 start on the season.

And with the recent trade rumors surrounding Lonzo Ball, this may be a play that could help him get back on track and find a little confidence ahead of what will be a lot of upcoming road trips.

After the clash in San Antonio, the Lakers will play five of their next six games on the road, which will include four straight in a span of five days.
