The Los Angeles Lakers have been playing well over the last couple of weeks without rookie point guard Lonzo Ball, who has been out since early January with a knee sprain.

According to ClutchPoints' Ryan Ward, Ball will continue to be sidelined for Thursday night's home matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Lakers pulled out a surprising victory over the Thunder earlier this week back in Oklahoma City, with six players scoring in double figures led by Brook Lopez's 20 points, five rebounds, and five assists.

Los Angeles actually started 0-8 this season when Ball was not playing, but have quickly turned things around by winning seven of the last nine with Ball out of the lineup. In total, the Lakers have won 11 of their last 15 games, which has certainly turned some heads around the league.

In his first season in the league, Ball is averaging 10.2 points, 7.1 rebounds, 7.1 assists, 1.5 steals, and 0.9 blocks per game, but has had some considerable struggles with shooting the ball (35.6-percent shooting from the field and 30.3-percent from beyond the arc). Ball currently does not have a timetable to return, but he isn't expected back before the All-Star break and his status for the Rising Stars game next Friday night is in question as well.
