LeBron James just put on a show for the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday night as he led his team to a huge win over Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors, 124-116. The King came out with one of his best performances in a Laker uniform in a must-win game for a struggling LA side.

Twitter pretty much exploded after LeBron dropped a Lakers career-high and season-high 56-point effort all over the Dubs. Even Magic Johnson himself, who has been very critical of LA this season, could not help but heap some massive praise on LeBron:

As Magic said in his tweet, James has “outdelivered” on almost a nightly basis for the Lakers. This team has struggled mightily for the entire season, but in truth, this is of no fault of LeBron James.

Johnson's message here is noteworthy considering how he practically thrashed the Lakers just before the Warriors game. Magic had his sights set on Russell Westbrook after the former MVP's rather contentious comments following Thursday's loss to the Clippers. Johnson now appears to be in a much better mood, and for the sake of Lakers fans everywhere, let's just hope that this win kicks off a significant run for LeBron and Co.
