NBA champion Kobe Bryant perished tragically in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California, on Sunday afternoon. The legendary shooting guard was the NBA's MVP in 2007-08, a five-time title winner, and an eighteen-time All-Star before retiring in 2015-16.
NBA stars and players have poured loved to the departed Bryant and his family. Kobe has been married to longtime spouse Vanessa and has four daughters with her.
It is an absolute understatement to describe how NBA players and the sports landscape reacted to Kobe Bryant's death.

Bryant had just recently congratulated current Lakers star LeBron James, who had just passed the retired guard and former adversary for the NBA's third place in all-time scoring.
Continuing to move the game forward @KingJames. Much respect my brother 💪🏾 #33644
