Los Angeles Lakers teammates LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Dwight Howard are not quite as tall as they were previously being listed, according to a report from The Athletic.

The height differentials aren't too drastic, but they're still worth noting:

Here are three notable official heights for the Lakers, per sources:

LeBron James: 6-foot-8½ (previous listing, 6-foot-8)
Anthony Davis: 6-foot-9¾ (previous listing, 6-foot-11)
Dwight Howard: 6-foot-9¾ (previous listing, 6-foot-11)

The Lakers took part in one of the bigger deals of the offseason, trading with the New Orleans Pelicans for Anthony Davis. With “The Brow” alongside Howard and James, Los Angeles appears to have one of the more formidable frontcourts in in the NBA.

It's not clear how well the Lakers will perform in this campaign, but they've certainly looked good in the preseason. In Wednesday night's 126-93 exhibition victory over the Golden State Warriors, James and Davis combined for 26 points. Davis brought down 10 rebounds, eight assists, two blocks and one steal. LeBron, on the other hand, dished out 11 assists. Howard played well, too, racking up 13 points and seven rebounds.

The Lakers will be back in preseason action on Friday night, as they're scheduled for another matchup against the Warriors. Tip-off inside the Chase Center is set for 10:30 p.m. ET, with NBA TV having live broadcast coverage.
