The Los Angeles Lakers came out victorious against the Washington Wizards last night, and one of the highlights of their 124-106 victory was Lance Stephenson's crossover that saw Jeff Green stumble. The Lakers bench celebrated like crazy when Stephenson hit the jumper to complete the play, and there was someone who might have rejoiced too much.

In his postgame interview via ClutchPoints' Ryan Ward, Lakers guard Rajon Rondo said he was so pumped during the play that he ran on the court. But then he realized that he wasn't playing so he hurried back to the bench to avoid getting a technical:

“I kind of lost it. Just glad I didn't get a tech. I ran out on the court a little bit. I forgot where I was at for moment. I tried to hurry & get back & I ended up falling on myself. Other than that, it was a great play.”

Come to think of it, it was good that Rondo was sitting near the Lakers bench when the play happened. After all, he said he loves to sit beside the fans whenever there's a vacant courtside seat.

It was one of the rare moments this season that fans saw some Lakers players having so much fun during a game. The team won't be making the playoffs, but they're still keeping their heads up in the hopes of finishing the year on a positive note.
