Russell Westbrook is loving life now that he's back home in LA. His summer move to the Los Angeles Lakers has him all fired up as he looks forward to helping the Purple & Gold retake the title this coming season.
Russ is doing his best bit to hype the Lakers faithful and his recent eight-word message should also get new teammate LeBron James fired up:
“It's gonna be crazy. It's gonna be dope,” Westbrook said (h/t Lakers on Twitter).

Russ was all smiles as he expressed his excitement to be playing in Staples Center this coming season. If he's excited then Lakers fans should definitely get excited as well.
There's no denying that the Lakers will need to answer a few questions as a unit once they take the floor. The fit of their new-look and star-studded squad will be one thing, with concerns being raised about Westbrook's ability to play alongside LeBron James. Then again, these are future Hall of Famers you're talking about here, and so long as their egos don't get in the way, they should be able to figure things out quickly.
There are definitely going to be a few bumps on the road along the way, but at this point, the Lakers are looking like the favorites to go and win it all this coming season. For Westbrook, a championship is the one thing missing for what has been an illustrious career, and he might just get his wish now that he's in LA.
