Los Angeles Lakers legend Shaquille O'Neal is one of the most dominant big men to ever play in the NBA. And even though he won three titles in Southern California while averaging a ridiculous amount of points on the big stage, fans still want to hate on the Big Diesel.

Well, Kenny Smith totally agreed with Shaq's take here on his three rings with the Lakers, telling TMZ Sports that O'Neal had every right to clap back because success doesn't ever come alone, no matter what.

“Shaq is 100% correct, it's a team sport, the Lakers don't have Robert Horry, Rick Fox, they don't win either! There was a bunch of guys that contributed with us too, Clyde Drexler, Sam Cassell, you can't win alone this ain't tennis man.”

Smith is spitting straight facts. These current NBA Finals are the perfect example. Although Stephen Curry has been dominant for the Golden State Warriors, he's needed help, especially when he's cold. Andrew Wiggins has stepped up in a big way. For that Lakers squad, yes, Shaq averaged around 35 points per game in the Finals across three years but as Smith mentioned, Fox and Horry were also crucial. A team is much more than two players. The same could be said about Kobe, too. If he doesn't have Shaq, those back-to-back-to-back championships don't happen. It's that simple.
