Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James made sure to show his support to his nephew Ziaire Williams, who was drafted 10th overall by the Memphis Grizzlies during the 2021 NBA Draft.

On Twitter, LeBron congratulated Williams and expressed how proud he is of the new Grizzlies rookie. As someone who went through the same process and handled the pressure of being a lottery pick, the Lakers forward also gave some words of wisdom to Ziaire as he starts his professional basketball journey in the NBA.

“Enjoy the process and everything that comes with it!” LeBron advised.

Ziaire Williams developed a close relationship with LeBron James and Dwyane Wade when he played alongside their sons, Bronny James and Zaire Wade respectively, in Sierra Canyon. Bronny was a freshman when Ziaire was a senior in the said high school, and the Lakers star would often come to their games.

When Williams was asked what he feels now that he'll be going against his Uncle LeBron in the NBA, he admitted he didn't realize it immediately. He was simply in disbelief that he'll be facing someone he respects and idolizes growing up.

“Oh man, that’s going to be a crazy night, man, for real,” Williams said, per Commercial Appeal. “That’s crazy, that really just hit me right now. I’m really going to play LeBron.”

While Ziaire will be enemies with his Uncle Bron on the court, it sure looks like the Lakers leader is ready to guide the Grizzlies youngster as he steps foot in the NBA.
