Zaire Wade chose to honor Kobe Bryant's passing in a unique way during Sierra Canyon's game on Wednesday night. After slamming home a two-handed jam in transition, Wade pulled his jersey to one side, just as the former Lakers star did after hitting the game-winning shot for the Lakers in the 2006 Western Conference Playoffs.

Kobe's effort for the Lakers in that Game 6 matchup against the Suns will go down as one of his greatest performances. Not only did he tie the game at 90 points apiece, sending the game into overtime, Bryant went on to hit a memorable game-winning buzzer beater, giving the Lakers a 3-1 advantage in the series.

This was no ordinary buzzer beater, though. It was a thing of beauty. In fact, the entire sequence leading up to that fateful shot will go down as a highlight in Lakers history. Los Angeles was down by as many as eight points in the fourth quarter, but solid team defense and Kobe's offensive efforts led the team to victory in extra time.

Zaire, who is the son of Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade, is just 17 years of age, but he clearly knows what Bryant meant to the Lakers and the NBA community. It was a small gesture, but Kobe supporters knew exactly what it meant.

Bryant was killed in a helicopter crash on Sunday morning at the age of 41. Sadly, all nine passengers, including his 13-year-old daughter Gianna, perished in the tragic accident.
