The Los Angeles Lakers are not quite done adding to the roster after signing Andre Drummond.

Los Angeles has a touch more than $1 million to spend to remain under the hard cap. The Lakers have one more spot to fill, and they are expected to fill it with a “3-and-D wing,” per Jovan Buha and Jared Weiss of The Athletic.

Just who that wing player is will likely be determined in the coming days. However, one name is especially interesting: Avery Bradley.

The former Lakers wing was sent to the Houston Rockets as part of the trade that landed the Miami Heat former All-Star Victor Victor Oladipo. Bradley has no real place in a crowded Rockets backcourt, nor does he figure into their future plans, making him a potential buyout candidate.

Bradley performed the “3-and-D” role pretty well for the 2019-20 Lakers, averaging 8.6 points while shooting 36.4 percent from beyond the arc. He has been limited to just 10 games this season due to a calf injury but had been shooting over 40 percent from deep during his brief stint in Miami.

Los Angeles might otherwise be intrigued by Otto Porter Jr.'s skill set. Porter was expected to have some interest in the event of a buyout. However, the Orlando Magic appear more inclined to keep Porter after acquiring him from the Chicago Bulls as part of the Nikola Vucevic blockbuster.

The Lakers have been battling in the absence of both LeBron James and Anthony Davis, though they have rattled off two straight wings.

Perhaps the arrival of Drummond and a “3-and-D” player can bolster the roster until the Lakers stars are back and at full strength.
