It may be the dog days of summer, but Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma is not letting the offseason stop him from seeing action on the court.

Kuzma was among those invited by his former teammate and now Denver Nuggets point guard Isaiah Thomas to the latter’s Zeke-End basketball tournament in Tacoma, Washington, and the 23-year-old rising star showed that regardless of the level and quality of his opponents, he will always be ready to ball out.

Kyle Kuzma was all over the court, splashing jumpers and abusing his defenders on his many attacks to the basket. He didn’t take the game lightly and made sure people in attendance all got their money’s worth.

Kuzma later took to Twitter to react to some of his highlights in the tournament.

Kuzma is looking to build on a surprising rookie campaign in the NBA. Drafted 27th overall by the Brooklyn Nets last year before he was traded to the Lakers, Kuzma was among the biggest surprises last season. Kuzma averaged 16.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists per game, emerging as one of the best players in a stacked rookie class of 2017-18.

Isaiah Thomas saw first hand how good Kuzma was last season, as he played a total of 17 games for the Lakers after he was traded to Los Angeles by the Cleveland Cavaliers back in February.
