Los Angeles Lakers swingman Lance Stephenson is putting in the work during this offseason after being signed to a one-year deal earlier this summer.

Among the changes he has made is an altered form and shooting stroke under NBA trainer Chris Brickley, which offers a more compact core movement with less impact on his legs and a more fluid catch-to-release motion.

The results speak for themselves…

Brickley came into the spotlight as one of the best modern NBA trainers after working with Carmelo Anthony for several years with the New York Knicks. After his time was up in The Big Apple, he continued growing his clientele, not only hosting New York mainstays like the Brooklynite Stephenson, but other known stars like Chris Paul, Enes Kanter and J.R. Smith, among others.

Last year's infamous “Blackout Sessions” brought over some of the best offseason scrimmages, including the Hoodie Melo phenomenon.

Stephenson is only a 30 percent 3-point shooter for the duration of his career — a trait which will have to improve if he hopes to enhance his longevity in the game and make the most of his opportunity to play alongside LeBron James on this revamped Lakers team.
