Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James made his grand return to Road Trippin' with Allie Clifton and Richard Jefferson. During the segment, James paid homage to the guys from the 2020 championship team who won't be on the squad this upcoming season and Jefferson used that moment to troll Kyle Kuzma.

Jefferson, who has a close relationship with James since they were teammates on the Cleveland Cavaliers, joked about the Lakers trading Kuzma right in front of LeBron.

Kyle Kuzma has been in trade rumors pretty much since the day the Lakers drafted him in 2017. The swingman was the only youngster to survive the Anthony Davis trade with the New Orleans Pelicans in the summer of 2019. At that time, Los Angeles traded Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball and Josh Hart to the Pelicans for Davis.

As expected, LeBron James jokingly told Richard Jefferson to stop picking on Kuzma, who averaged 12.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game for the Lakers last season while shooting 43.6 percent from the field, 31.6 percent from beyond the arc and 73.5 percent from the free-throw line.

During the 2020 playoffs against the Portland Trail Blazers, Houston Rockets, Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat, Kuzma put up 10.0 points and 3.1 boards in 21 games. The Lakers defeated the Heat in the NBA Finals in six games for title No. 17 in franchise history.

Kuzma is always going to be a polarizing player in Los Angeles due to his inconsistent play. With that said, it's going to be interesting to see how the 25-year-old performs in 2020-21.
