Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has basically run away with the NFL MVP award in only his second season. The 32nd pick of the 2018 NFL Draft has lit up opposing defenses this year completing 66.1 percent of his passes for 3,127 yards, 36 touchdowns, and only six interceptions.

Even with his massive improvement as a passer, Jackson has made most of his money this year on the ground having likely the best rushing season for a QB in NFL history. Jackson's 1,207 rushing yards are the most ever by a quarterback and his seven rushing touchdowns are the most since Cam Newton had 10 in 2015.

Jackson's MVP-type season has led the Ravens to become the favorites to win the Super Bowl in February. However, before they get there, they have to face off against a Tennessee Titans squad that just knocked off Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.

Jackson will have fewer than 230 passing yards

This may seem like a knock against Jackson — it's really not. With how prolific Jackson has been as a passer this season, it may come as a surprise that he has only eclipsed the 250-yard mark three times this season.

Additionally, those three performances came in the first three weeks of the season. At the same time, Jackson hasn't had to throw for a ton of yards to get things done. The Titans defense isn't elite but I think they come in with a lot of momentum.

Regardless of this prediction, I still think Jackson has at least three total touchdowns against the Titans.

Jackson scores at least one go-ahead touchdown in the last quarter

Lamar Jackson

The Ravens are currently nine-point favorites against the Titans — and for good reason. Not only do they have one of the best offenses in the NFL led by Jackson, but they also have one of the stingiest defenses in the league. Not to mention, they're playing at home and have had a week of rest.

The Ravens rank fifth in the NFL in rushing yards allowed per game but I'm not sure they'll be able to contain the human wrecking ball that is Derrick Henry. Since Ryan Tannehill has taken over at QB for the Titans they have had one of the NFL's best offenses.

Coming off their big win last week, I wouldn't be surprised if Tennessee lays an egg against a superior opponent. However, I think the Titans will be able to keep it close throughout.

The Ravens haven't had a ton of close games this year, especially in the fourth quarter. But, I think this game will present Jackson with an opportunity to show off the ice in his veins. Expect the likely-MVP to score at least one touchdown to give the Ravens the lead late in a shootout.
