Music and basketball go hand in hand, especially for NBA players who listen to songs before games to hype them up. Most of them listen to R&B or hip hop as the beat of those songs are usually fast-paced which easily pumps them up and raises their energy.

Recently, three of the league's biggest stars, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and James Harden, appeared in an Instagram video together with Future and Steve Stoute to discuss who their top five rappers are. The three All-Stars also gave their thoughts on what it takes to be considered great in that industry and how long someone must be rapping before getting included in their top five.

All of them gave valid points on who are the bests in the game, but it was very noticeable that each one of them had different rappers as part of their list.

One thing they agreed on though was that some of the best were artists from the 1990's like Notorious B.I.G and 2Pac whose names were dropped during their healthy discussion.
