LeBron James has been in full-on dad mode in support of Bronny James ever since he entered a rare early offseason. The Los Angeles Lakers star has been a regular fixture at Bronny's high school basketball games, even bringing along some celebrity friends to watch the action.
Bronny's recent games have been played in St. Vincent-St. Mary High School's own gymnasium, now called the LeBron James arena. The young prospect may not be the transcendent prospect that his dad was, but he put up enough plays to fill a highlight reel for sure.

But Bronny's success doesn't come without scrutiny. During the closing minutes of a close game, the youngster drew a foul that sent him to the free throw line. The in-arena announcer insinuated that Bronny was getting a favorable whistle just because he was LeBron James' son, playing in the arena named after him. King James took exception, confronting the man and having a healthy exchange of words with him that had the entire arena staring.

LeBron James knows the burden placed on Bronny as he tries to carve out his own name in basketball. All he wants as a father is for his son to get a fair shake, just as he did years ago.
