LIFE IS STRANGE REMASTERED COLLECTION RELEASE DATE

The Life Is Strange Remastered Collection will arrive on September 10, 2021, along with the new True Colors. A copy of the game will come with every Collector's Edition of True Colors. For those who just want the collection, Square Enix assures fans that there will be a stand-alone version later this year. However, we don't have an exact date for this stand-alone version yet. Right now, the fastest way to get a copy is by purchasing the Collector's Edition of Life Is Strange True Colors.

The Remastered Collection will feature improved visuals and animations, according to Square Enix. The motion capture technology they're using for True Colors – a first in the series – will apply here. Developers Deck Nine will also vastly improve the game's lighting.

Oddly enough, Deck Nine Games will be developing the Life Is Strange Remastered Collection. Deck Nine developed the prequel game, Life Is Strange Before the Storm, included in the collection. However, a different studio worked on the original Life Is Strange while still being published by Square Enix. It will be interesting to see how Deck Nine's handling of Dontnod Entertainment's game will turn out. Hopefully, everything will just be all right.  We don't have time-rewind powers like Max to remand any issues, after all.

Critics gave high scores for both Life Is Strange and Life Is Strange Before the Storm upon release. Both stories follow two girls, Max Caulfield and Chloe Price.  Max's use of her time-rewind powers leads to a Butterfly Effect, leading to interesting decisions for players to make.
