For years, we've had the pleasure of getting an inside look into an NFL franchise all thanks to HBO's Hard Knocks. This season should be a banger, as the Detroit Lions will be featured. The roster isn't the best, however, this means we're going to see how Dan Campbell acts behind the scenes.
Early Monday morning, the Lions made the announcement themselves on their social media pages. Typically, we don't see the best franchises take the spotlight on Hard Knocks, which is why Detroit will be featured throughout the preseason. Regardless, we're going to be receiving plenty of Dan Campbell content, which is sure to generate buzz everywhere.

Hard Knocks will feature the Lions from August 9 to September 6, per Adam Schefter. It should be interesting to watch, as the Lions are in the middle of rebuilding their roster. We'll get to see how young stars D'Andre Swift, TJ Hockenson, and Amon-Ra St. Brown develop as they prepare for another NFL season.

According to Tim Twentyman, the Lions president Rod Wood is excited to have his team featured on the popular television show. It will be interesting to see how Detroit conducts themselves while under the spotlight, but it should make for an entertaining season of Hard Knocks.

Dan Campbell is known for his hilarious rants during press conferences. From biting off knee caps to wearing a motorbike helmet, there is no telling what Campbell will say or do on camera. We'll see how it plays out, but many should be tuning into this season to watch the Lions throughout training camp and the preseason.
