Detroit Lions special teams man Jamal Agnew returned a kickoff from the Philadelphia Eagles 100 yards for a touchdown, the first score for the Lions on the day.

The 24-year-old Agnew, a cornerback, returned a deep ball from Eagles kicker Jake Elliott after an opening-drive field goal from quarterback Carson Wentz and the Philly offense. The return man found great blocking and a clear seam to slip through the Eagles' kickoff coverage unit.

After tying their season-opening Week 1 game with the Arizona Cardinals in an overtime duel, the Lions bounced back in Week 2 for a three-point margin of victory over Philip Rivers and the Los Angeles Chargers.

Agnew was a fifth-round selection by the Lions in the 2017 NFL Draft, earning an All-Pro honors in his rookie year, too. He scored two special-teams touchdowns in his first year, setting his longest return at 88 yards—which he just broke with the 100-yard touchdown return.
