After LaVar Ball claimed to have talked into existence the Lakers and his son Lonzo’s respective paths to intersect, the younger Ball worked his way out of it, albeit unintentionally.

Lonzo Ball’s initial workout with Los Angeles proved to be a down moment for his family as the Lakers were reportedly unimpressed with the out-of-shape player that showed up.

However, with the immense potential that the former Bruin carries within himself, the team deemed it worthy that he be given a second chance. And reports that are coming out of Ball’s second workout have been positive, per ESPN's Ramona Shelburne.

Team president Magic Johnson and General Manager Rob Pelinka were present to observe as the 19-year-old phenom displayed his conditioning regimen, among others.

This is certainly welcome news for the draft hopeful, but this doesn’t guarantee himself of realizing his dream scenario as the Lakers are also high on fellow point guard Markelle Fultz, and to some extent, Josh Jackson.

Ball better stay away from complacency and entertain other teams outside of the Lakers as well, especially at this point where Los Angeles is even rumored to be entertaining the thought of trading draft spots with other teams.
