LSU Football Ranked Third Toughest Place To Play In College Football 25

The LSU Tigers' Tiger Stadium was ranked the third toughest place to play in EA College Football 25. Between the team's recent success and the sheer size and atmosphere of the stadium, it makes sense to see it ranked so high. But in case you're still wondering why they ranked third, then perhaps these reasons will help explain.

Firstly, LSU has gone 141-23 at home since 2000. In that span, we've seen the school earn eight of its 10 total division titles. Additionally, this includes three national championships. The team hasn't lost a home game since October 8th, 2022. In the last two seasons alone, the team has gone 13-1 at home.

But that's not the only reason LSU earned such a high ranking. The school averages over 100,000 attendees per game, making it one of the most popular programs in NCAA Football. And with the amount of money spent on renovations and expansions, it's definitely one of the highest quality venues in the league. It even served as a temporary stadium for the New Orleans Saints during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Furthermore, the team has produced some extremely high-quality players to the NFL over the years. Just a few short years ago, Joe Burrow, Justin Jefferson, and Ja'Marr Chase all played together at LSU, and now look to have HOF-bound careers. Between the stadium's size, the team's consistent performances, and the high quality of players produced, it makes sense that LSU ranks so high on this list.

The only other teams ahead of LSU on the list include rivals Alabama (#2) and Texas A&M (#1). Should you decide to play as LSU, prepare yourself for some high-energy matchups, especially when playing in enemy territory. and if you decide to run with LSU in Dynasty, expect to feel the support of 100,000+ fans.

Overall, we believe LSU definitely earned their rank in this list. Since 1983, we've seen the team accomplish things that football programs decades older than it have never accomplished once. In case you're curious about the factors put into this ranking system, it involves a team's:

  • Historical stats
  • Home winning percentage
  • Home game attendance
  • Active home winning streaks
  • Team prestige

Of course, not everyone will agree with this. Therefore, feel free to start a rivalry with any of LSU's rivals and humiliate them in front of their 100,000+ fans. Just expect a serious challenge, as College Football 25's home field advantage mechanic will surely make things interesting.

Feel free to check out the rest of the rankings, along with more info on College Football 25's gameplay. We look forward to seeing all 134 stadiums on next generation systems.
