The Madden 25 Closed Beta returns for its second wave, allowing players to try out the new Franchise Mode, Training Camp, and more. Madden 25's Beta lets players try out the next annual title before it releases this August. Between the new Boom Tech Tackling system, Draft Night Experience, and Team Builder, there's a lot of interesting new features in the upcoming title. Without further ado, let's explain what Madden 25 Closed Beta players can experience this weekend.

Madden 25 Beta Returns – Everything We Know So Far

The second Madden 25 Closed Beta begins on Thursday, June 27th at 2:00 PM ET and ends on Tuesday, July 2nd at 2:00 PM ET. Overall, players will be able to try out multiple modes, but the key highlights include Franchise and Training Camp.

Firstly, the second Closed Beta offers players a taste of the new and improved Franchise Mode. Madden 25's Franchise Mode is receiving some major improvements, like a new NFL Draft Night Experience, and Dynamic Storylines.

You'll see a virtual Roger Goodell announce the picks as you explore a more user-friendly draft prospect board. Furthermore, the Draft Night will show the insides of Team War Rooms and more to heighten the game's presentation.

Additionally, Franchise Mode in Madden 25 will let you “manage personalities” through different storylines across a variety of areas. From meetings in the coach's office, to press conferences, there'll be more to do off the field.

Other presentation and quality of life improvements include:

  • Full team and rookie records
  • Simplified league creation tools
  • Improved team roster AI in free agency and the draft
  • Fresh Super Bowl Celebration experience
  • New draft stories and generators

And after launch, fans can expect a Crossplay version of Franchise to experience with friends on different consoles. However, Franchise isn't the only thing about the new Madden 25 Closed Beta.

Selected participants can also try the Training Camp mode, which mostly serves as a practice mode. Not every player utilizes it, but we recommend doing so to become a better player. Practice makes perfect, after all!

Overall, that includes everything we know so far about the Madden 25 Beta's second run. We look forward to trying out everything new in Franchise and Training Camp. Unfortunately, we won't be able to share any thoughts, gameplay, or screenshots of the Beta, as all Closed Beta players are prohibited from doing so. But fear not, as Madden 25 releases in less than two months.
