Orlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon is looking forward to having another epic Slam Dunk contest battle in the 2020 NBA All-Star Weekend.

Gordon is eyeing another showdown with Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine. LaVine will likely join the 2020 Slam Dunk Contest, as Chicago is set to host next year's All-Star Weekend. The high-flying forward said that it appears his rematch with LaVine has a good chance of happening.

“I think so, it's starting to look like that,” Gordon said of joining the Slam Dunk contest against LaVine via TMZ Sports. “It's really up to the NBA, but we're gonna do it.”

Gordon and LaVine faced off three years ago in what is dubbed as one of the greats dunk-offs in league history. LaVine edged Gordon in their tight battle. However, some fans felt that Gordon was robbed off a victory after Dikembe Mutombo gave a nine on what is considered as the best dunk in the contest.

To add spice to the contest next year, Gordon is also eager to face New Orleans Pelicans rookie Zion Williamson. The former Duke University standout made a lot of rim-rattling dunks during his lone season in college. Williamson was drafted first overall in the 2019 NBA Draft.
