Sexuality is an often hush topic in the NBA so it’s refreshing to hear young Orlando Magic forward Jonathan Isaac take to Twitter and share his views on it.

According to him, pre-marital intercourse is a serious topic, which should be given more attention. Proper protection and abstinence are key solutions to the widespread occurrences of teen pregnancies and consequently, abortion.

As reported by Dan Feldman of NBC Sports, here are Isaac’s full tweets:

It’s also quite noteworthy that despite only being 20 years of age, the sixth overall pick in 2017 is aware of the challenges brought about by living the NBA life. What’s more inspiring is how he’s not afraid to speak up on issues he feels strongly about. This is a strong foundation that would make him a valuable role model for the young.

Magic fans will also hope that this newfound voice helps Isaac evolve into a more complete player. After underwhelming in his rookie reason, the former Florida State Gator will look to bounce back and combine forces with Aaron Gordon and rookie Mo Bamba to create a formidable frontcourt on both ends of the floor.

While not currently in the running for the playoffs, the team hopes to use the 2018-19 campaign as the next step in the rebuild, and Isaac is firmly a part of that plan.
