Orlando Magic center Mo Bamba is keeping his end of the deal with four-time NBA champion Shaquille O'Neal.

Bamba made a friendly little wager with Shaq on the Texas vs. LSU football game.  As you can see in the text exchange between the two, Shaq would allow Bamba to DJ one of his gigs if Texas won the match. However, if Shaq's LSU won, Bamba would cut his signature flat top.

Unfortunately for the 21-year old, the Longhorns lost to the Tigers. Bamba had no choice but to cut his hair. He even posted a picture on Twitter for proof, and asked Shaq is everything was good:

Good for the Magic sophomore for being a good sport.

Bamba was a one-and-done star in Texas. In 30 games, the big man averaged 12.9 PPG, 10.5 RPG, and 3.7 BPG. He also shot 54.1 percent from the field.

The 7-foot-1 center played just 47 games in his rookie season. He suffered a stress fracture in his left tibia that ultimately ruled him out for the final 30 games of the regular season and the Magic's 5-game playoff run. In 47 games, Bamba averaged 6.2 PPG, 5.0 RPG, and 1.4 BPG and shot 48.1 percent from the field.

Last year's no. 6 overall pick is still a raw prospect that needs to gain more reps in the NBA. Bamba has plenty of upside as a rim-running and shot blocking big for the Magic.

However, it might be hard for him to see a major uptick in playing time this upcoming season. Orlando recently re-signed All-Star big man Nikola Vucevic to a four-year $100-million contract.
