In a rather surprising turn of events, Cristiano Ronaldo isn't keen on staying at Manchester United for another season.

Per The Times, the Portuguese striker has told the club he'd like to leave this summer in search of Champions League football if they receive a decent enough offer.

Ronaldo reunited with Manchester United last summer after abruptly leaving Juventus, proceeding to score 18 Premier League goals in 30 appearances. However, it wasn't enough for the Red Devils to secure a top-four finish, ending up in sixth place and missing out on Europe's most prized competition.

At 37 years old, Cristiano has shown no signs of slowing down and clearly believes he can still play a few more years of quality football. Plus, Europa is beneath him.

There's already been interest in Ronaldo, with new Chelsea owner Todd Boehly meeting with his agent Jorge Mendes recently, while Bayern Munich is also keeping tabs on the Manchester United talisman.

Cristiano has played in the Champions League for 19 straight seasons, ever since he left Sporting Lisbon as a youngster to come to Old Trafford for the first time in 2003.

Both Chelsea and Bayern would offer just that, with the Blues in dire need of a No. 9 after the failed Romelu Lukaku experiment. As for the German champions, they could still lose Robert Lewandowski, who remains adamant about joining Barcelona.

It'll be interesting to see what happens next with Cristiano Ronaldo's future at Manchester United.
