Manchester United's Luke Shaw and Marcus Rashford are making headlines off the pitch as their luxury cars face the wrath of parking fines in Cheshire. Shaw, who had left his sleek black Lamborghini Urus outside Wilmslow train station, was met with a hefty £240 in fines, with four tickets each costing £60. The snapshots of Shaw's £180,000 motor adorned with fines tell a tale of parking misadventures for the Manchester United left-back.

Shaw, a Manchester United's Carrington training ground regular in his Lamborghini, joins teammate Marcus Rashford in the unfortunate parking fine club. Last week, Rashford, who has recently found form with two goals and two assists in his last four games, received a £60 fine for leaving his impressive £280,000 McLaren 765 Long Tail on double yellow lines during a lunch outing at Juniper Restaurant in Wilmslow.

While the parking fines might raise eyebrows, the financial hit is unlikely to trouble the duo, with Shaw reportedly earning £150,000 a week and Rashford pocketing a weekly wage of £300,000. Both players remain key contributors to Manchester United's campaign, and the fines serve as a minor blip off the field.

Shaw, who hasn't featured in the Premier League since before Christmas, was set to play a crucial role in Man Utd's clash against Tottenham. Still, a setback forced him to withdraw, prompting Aaron Wan-Bissaka to assume an unfamiliar left-back position. Manager Erik ten Hag expressed the unexpected change: “We expected Luke Shaw; we trained with Luke Shaw in preparation for this game, but this morning, he dropped out, not fit enough to start.”

Looking ahead, Manchester United faces Newport County in the FA Cup 4th round on January 28, followed by a challenging trip to Wolves on February 1. Despite off-field distractions, the Red Devils remain focused on their upcoming fixtures in domestic and cup competitions.
