Dallas Mavericks reigning Rookie of the Year winner Luka Doncic was having a bit of fun on the bench on Thursday during the Mavs' huge preseason win against the Los Angeles Clippers. The cameras caught Doncic horsing around with teammate Boban Marjanovic, who looked like he was manhandling the highly-talented 20-year-old on the Dallas bench.

Doncic had another solid outing against the Clippers, logging 15 points (on 5-of-11 shooting), four three-pointers, 13 rebounds, and three assists in 25 minutes of play. The former third overall pick did commit a whopping nine turnovers during the contest, but still did enough to help his side to a convincing 102-87 victory against a Paul George-less L.A. side.

Reigning Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard did log 22 minutes of action in this one, accounting for 13 points (on a miserable 5-of-19 shooting), two treys, three rebounds, two assists, and four steals, but his efforts were not enough to lead his squad to victory.

For his part, Mavs big man Boban Marjanovic provided some quality minutes of the Dallas bench, putting up four points, seven rebounds, an assist, and two blocks in 18 minutes.

Marjanovic and Doncic seemed to have formed quite a bond — an unusual one at that — since the former signed with the Mavs this summer on a two-year, $7 million deal. Marjanovic is not exactly going to be a star player for Dallas, but he will still definitely have his role to play in what should be a very interesting season ahead for a hungry Mavericks side.
