Doc Rivers has been doing this coaching thing for a while now. The Philadelphia 76ers coach has had several chances to coach against LeBron James throughout his various coaching stops. According to him, it's not unlike what he's seen from Luka Doncic when playing against the Dallas Mavericks.
Rivers was vocal on the difficulty of coaching against the Mavs star, who poses a similar problem to that of LeBron James.

He's very similar to LeBron (James),” Rivers continued after the Sixers' loss to the Mavs. He's such a great passer, and he just holds the ball at the last minute. He was toying with some of the blitzes. So he's not a guy that I actually loved blitzing, but I do think it's good at times.”
Doncic showed every bit of his talent against the Sixers on Friday night with 33 points, 13 rebounds and 15 assists to lead the Mavs to victory. Doc Rivers simply could not stop him no matter what defensive schemes he threw at Luka.
Luka Doncic is far from the physical freak of nature that LeBron James is. But the Mavs frontman is a legit 6'7″ with real size while also having the passing ability and IQ of a basketball prodigy. Both LeBron and Luka were highly touted years before they ever made the NBA so it's no surprise that there's a comparison between the two.
